Mobile Crisis Services across the province received an additional $1.4M in funding to ensure that professional after hour emergency Social Services are available in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert. 

The following programs are available as support to children in the areas of adoption, child protection, foster care and youth.

  • Adoption - offers programs in domestic adoption, assisted adoption, intercountry adoption and post-adoption
  • Child Protection - sometimes a child may be in need of protection when there is abuse and neglect
  • Foster Care - a home is provided that will best meet the needs of each child in the care of the ministry
  • Youth - provides services to 16 and 17 year old youth when there is no parent willing or able to take responsibility for the young person
